Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit us so we can share what steps will be taken to provide your pet with the latest and best available care in Veterinary Medicine. Valley Animal Hospital and Hart’s Animal Hospital are full-service veterinary medical facilities, located in Northeastern, Ohio. Our hospitals have been serving the cities of North Royalton, Akron, Brecksville, Strongsville, Parma, Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Fairlawn, Copley as well as many other neighboring communities for over 30 years. We have been voted by the public in Akron’s Beacon’s Best and Fox 8’s Hot List in several categories for our hospitals and pet spa.
Our facilities have the latest in technology and equipment to solve your pet's medical problems. Digital radiography, digital dental radiography, laser surgery, laser therapy, the latest in anesthesia monitoring equipment, dental equipment, chemotherapy, and a full spectrum of surgical equipment for procedures including but not limited to orthopedic specialty procedures. Our Veterinary staff is committed to promoting responsible, preventative health care and health related education to you and your family in order to build a long enjoyable relationship with you and your pet. We recognize the special bond between a family and their companion due to our own relationship to our pet “kids”, whether it is a cat, dog or exotic pet. We believe in striving to provide the same level of care and service to you as we would expect if we were the client. The golden rule of “do unto others” is a motto we live in all of our facilities.
If visiting our medical facilities, once checked in, our Pet Nursing staff will escort you to a room for your pet's appointment, where they will begin your pets visit by checking their temperature, pulse and respiration. This gives your Veterinarian an initial indication of the status of your companion’s health. When the Veterinarian comes in they will examine your pet by checking, eyes, ears, skin and listening to their heart and lungs. The Veterinarian will then discuss health or behavioral concerns you may be experiencing with your pet. We also provide boarding for your family member so you can enjoy time away and have peace of mind knowing a Vet is on staff if needed.
If visiting Celebrity Pets Salon, the groomer will greet you and discuss the styling/bathing needs of your pet. Our grooming staff, with a combined experience of 38 years, is also well educated in helping you to maintain a happy pet, by teaching basic maintenance for those “in between” times from your pet’s last haircut. Our professional groomer can recommend the best shampoos and tools needed for your pet’s specific hair coat. To help serve you better, if your pet is in need of a Veterinarian for vaccines or other routine care, our grooming staff can work with the hospital in coordinating a Dr. visit while being groomed.
